Somerset Juniors

Somerset Junior Badminton has big ambitions! 

We want to field teams in every age group - U13, U15, U17 and U19 - in the South West Counties League. The age group criteria is on the Badminton England website. 

The South West Counties League plays against Cornwall, Devon, Avon and Guernsey. 

We NEED more players in every age group in order to achieve this. Do you know of any young players who would like to try out for the Somerset Juniors?

We also want to field one or more teams in the Shires League. The Shires League is a Badminton England sanctioned league. This league is nationwide. The Counties are sorted into local leagues and the winners of the leagues go through to the Regional Finals. Shires League has a very high standard of play. Most of the players taking part are players that play in Badminton England Tournaments. 

The County Championships are at the end of September / early October. These are open to all players eligible to play for Somerset.
